ESSEX, Massachusetts – On Wednesday, September 16, 2015, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony at the grand opening of six beautiful new rooms in the Essex River Inn at the Essex the Essex River House Motel. The ceremony took place at 132 Main Street in Essex, MA.
New owner, David Brown, recently renovated the six rooms of the Inn. Susan Kane, manager of the Essex River Inn, cut the ribbon and welcomed guests to the opening celebration. Kane was presented with a senate citation from the office of Senator Tarr. The celebration featured live music by Ned Nugent and refreshments from Carole Shepard at Shae’s Riverside Restaurant were served to the many guests who attended.
Known as “a little gem by the river”, the Essex River House Motel is located on the Essex River in the antique center of Boston’s North Shore. The accommodations are near scenic drives and cruises, shopping, restaurants and more. Guests of the Motel and Inn are also a short drive to attractions in the neighboring Cape Ann communities.
