The Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce Gloucester Division is pleased to announce this year’s recipient of the 2013 Small Business Award, Jan Bordinaro of Atlantis Oceanfront Inn, who will be honored at a complimentary reception on Tuesday, June 4, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Lobsta Land Restaurant, 84 Causeway Street, Gloucester.
“Jan has been an incredibly active and productive participant in the hospitality business on Cape Ann for decades, both as a inn owner and as a promoter of tourism on behalf of the Chamber as well as the city of Gloucester. She is truly deserving of this special recognition,” said Mike Costello, former executive director of the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce.
Friends, family members, and colleagues of all small business honorees are invited and encouraged to attend the 33rd Annual Cape Ann Small Business Week Luncheon on Friday,June 7, at 11:30 am at the Castle Manor Inn, 141 Essex Avenue, Gloucester. Keynote speaker for this luncheon will be Robert Nelson, Director of the Small Business Administration’s Massachusetts District Office, on the importance of small business in sustaining the economic recovery. Tickets for the luncheon are available to members for $35 in advance or $40 week/day of and $50 for future members.
