Meet the Team
Chief Executive Officer
Ken has the privilege and pleasure of leading the Cape Ann Chamber since 2013 – working with people through their businesses, nonprofits and schools to make this region an amazing place to work, live and visit. One of Ken’s favorite past time’s is boating and fishing around Essex and Ipswich Bays, and the rocky shore lines of Cape Ann
– he even has his captain’s license!
Senior Vice President
Peter manages many aspects of the chamber’s day-to-day operations, leads the chamber’s Rockport Division and — drawing upon his extensive experience in Massachusetts state government – serves as our Government Affairs liaison. When he’s not at the office you might spot him with his family walking along Cape Ann’s beaches and trails, visiting a state park or state forest or just enjoying his back yard in Rockport.
Olivia Perez – O'Dess
Director of Community Relations
Olivia serves as the Chamber’s community liaison and works closely with local businesses and municipal and community leaders by supporting community initiatives, fostering economic development growth and strategic planning. In her spare time Olivia loves to travel. Next on her bucket list is Cuba but until then, she enjoys exploring beautiful Cape Ann with her French Bulldog Leo.
Member Services Manager
Sam manages all aspects of chamber membership – outreach and assistance to current members, on-boards new members, updates and communicates member benefits, and leads our Ambassador Committee.
Director of Events
Michelle leads all aspects of our over 50 annual events, including managing committees for our signature events, vendor and guest participation, sponsorships, venue logistics, and reporting.
Director of Marketing & Communications
Cindy leads the the member and Chamber events promotion, social media, newsletters and website content for all chamber activities. Cindy is your new "point person" for getting your events into our newsletter and promoted on our social media channels. On a nice day, Cindy has a hard time deciding whether to swing a golf club or go boating on Ipswich Bay. Whatever she decides, her rescued-Chihuahua mix, Taco, would rather she just stays home with him!
Becca manages the day-to-day at the chamber office while overseeing our volunteers and interns and helping to support of our events.
Charlene can be found on the front desk, taking calls and helping visitors. She is happy to point everyone to our local accomodations, attractions, restaurants and businesses. She loves Cape Ann and the Cape Ann License Plate and is proud to promote both. Her down time is spent cooking, designing, photographing and gardening.
Debbie manages all aspects of the Chamber’s finances payment processing for membership, advertising, event participation and sponsorships; monthly financial and year-end tax reporting.
