The Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce serves as Cape Ann’s leading advocate for business, promoting our members and the region’s economy, celebrating our culture, and enhancing our community’s quality of life.
The Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce commits to advancing inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility (IDEA) for people of all ages, genders, ethnicities, cultures, religions, sexual orientation, races, physical abilities, gender identity, and socioeconomic status throughout our organization and across Cape Ann. It is our goal to educate our leadership, staff and members, and serve as an example for the entire Cape Ann community. The Chamber will continue to work to advance IDEA initiatives by and among our members, other Cape Ann businesses, local municipalities, and community organizations. The Chamber’s commitment to IDEA is central to our focus on building a more vibrant and welcoming Cape Ann.
About the Chamber
The Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce is one of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ fastest growing chambers, with more than 1,000 members, including small businesses, global enterprises, independent businesspeople, and civic-minded individuals. We proudly serve all four Cape Ann communities – Essex, Gloucester, Manchester-by-the-Sea, and Rockport. Much of our work is focused in these areas:
- Promoting the region and raising the visibility of our members among residents and visitors
- Helping businesses thrive by fostering connections, providing training and education, and offering programs that benefit these organizations
- Addressing the economic, educational, and cultural needs of Cape Ann by providing support for key community priorities
The Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce offers its members a broad range of resources, including three websites (more than 400,000 views annually), three annual publications (printing more than with 260,000 copies), dozens of workshops and seminars, and a number of member savings programs, referral services and networking opportunities. We work closely with community and government leaders on economic, cultural and educational initiatives, and sponsor events across the region.
