With a new president and new executive director, the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce next weekend will return to one of its most longstanding traditions.
The Chamber will host its 92nd annual dinner dance next Saturday night at The Essex Room at Woodman’s of Essex. The location for the Gloucester-based organization is more than appropriate given that it’s the hometown of new Chamber CEO Ken Riehl, who stepped into the role formerly held by Robert Heidt last November.
The event is set to open with a cocktail reception starting at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and then dancing to the 1980s cover band Safety.
The evening will also include 2013 President Ed Collard outlining the Chamber’s accomplishments of the last year, while new President Mike Luster will outline what is to come in the future.
Tickets are priced at $85 apiece and are available through the Chamber. For more information, contact the Chamber offices at 978-283-1601 or visit capeannchamber.com.
