Every year since 1981 the Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce has set aside a week to honor the achievements of greater Cape Ann’s small business entrepreneurs and their employees, and their contributions to the economic vitality and community life of greater Cape Ann. In 2022 the Chamber has designated June 6 through June 17 as Cape Ann Small Business Week. Small businesspersons of the year for each Cape Ann community are selected by committees comprised of past recipients of this annual recognition.
Nominations are welcome and encouraged. Nominees for each community should be associated with established businesses that have made significant contributions to the economic vitality and community life in the Cape Ann Region.
