If you want to look for a silver lining from the months of being cooped up during the Covid pandemic, look no further than The Lobster Roller.
During the Covid lockdown, former television news and sports reporter Jessica Moran came to realize that it was time for a change. Inspired by her husband’s career change to lobster fishing, she decided to try her hand at his idea of a lobster roll food truck. Thus, in the summer of 2021, The Lobster Roller made its first appearance as a “food trailer” on the local scene. While the Lobster Roller started small (just in case she didn’t like it), now, in addition to their well-known red Lobster Roller food truck, they also have a brick and mortar take-out storefront in Rockport.
Over the years, their offerings have grown to include more than lobster rolls and clam chowder (hot dogs, grilled cheese, smash burgers, fries and more), and last year they introduced hot buttered lobster rolls in addition to the cold mayo rolls. Which one do you think is most popular? (You have to watch to find out!) Hot off the press – this year, look forward to the addition of a new lobster roll with a spicy mayo!
The Lobster Roller will return to Stacy Boulevard this summer for lunch, mostly Fridays – Mondays. Make sure you check out their website and social media feeds for their upcoming events, locations, and menus!
