The height of summer in Greater Cape Ann! Does it get any better? According to CNN, Travel and Leisure Magazine and countless other publications, no, it does not. Whether it’s a friendly conversation with a visitor who has traveled from afar, to enjoy our region the way we do, or a personal connection with one of our chamber members, we can all agree there is no region quite as special, unique, and beautiful as ours.
The Chamber continues to be an integral partner to our region, and we are happy to contribute to the events, the connections and community including in July: our first Gloucester Block Party, kicking off the Ipswich Downtown Tuesday’s Series, The Next Gen. Sunset Sail, our Business After Hours at Windhover, just to name a few.
As we all take time in the summer to recharge and rejuvenate, it is also a great time to reflect. Reflect on the many opportunities to connect in our community and with the Chamber. May we offer a few suggestions? Well 10 to be specific.
- Consider joining one of our many committees. It’s a great way to connect and give back and in a way that is personal and meaningful for you.
- Shop in a local store you have not visited before.
- Enjoy the view in each of our 5 communities. Possibly from a new perspective.
- Try a new food or beverage in a local establishment.
- Check out the local art, music, and culture.
- Go for a hike, bike, or leisurely stroll on one of our countless trails.
- Find out more about a local business or event and perhaps make a connection with your business.
- Enjoy a new, local adventure.
- Spend a day or part of a day in each of our 5 communities.
- Shop local!
If you need a nudge, consider checking out one or multiple events in August including the 2nd Block Party, Ipswich downtown Tuesdays, Festival By The Sea in Manchester By The Sea, Waterfront Festival at Stage Fort Park, or simply spend some time exploring Downtown Rockport, wandering through Essex, or any of our communities.
You will likely discover something new and amazing.
Respectfully,
