We are coming off the heels of a very busy and impactful month in the greater Cape Ann Region. During Small Business Week, we recognized our 2023 Small Business Winners from each of our five communities and celebrated the recipients and their countless contributions to our communities at the Castle Manor Inn. What a great evening and opportunity to recognize businesses and individuals who give so much back to our region. The Chamber also participated in the annual multi-chamber networking event at Misslewood, Endicott College in Beverly. The Chamber is happy to have successfully kicked off the Arts and Culture Alliance committee with a very active and engaged committee. Finally, we are happy to announce our amazing guides and maps have been distributed throughout Greater Cape Ann, Massachusetts, New England and beyond!
As we swing into Summer, we certainly have no shortage of fun and exciting events around our region. Our community events include the kickoff of the amazing musical, cultural and family fun experience of Ipswich Downtown Tuesdays on July 11th. This amazing series will run each Tuesday throughout the Summer and is a great way to enjoy our local talent in beautiful downtown Ipswich. The first of three Gloucester Block Parties will be held on July 15th, followed by our 2nd Block Party on August 12th and our 3rd and Final Block Party on September 2nd. Join us on Main Street with several musical stages, street performers, food trucks and more – fun for the whole family. The festivities continue, literally, with Festival by the Sea in Manchester-By-The-Sea on August 5th which features local artisans, great music, and food. If you are looking for fun networking opportunities, our monthly Business After Hours Mixers will be held on July 19th at Windhover in Rockport and the Cellar Door in Ipswich on August 9th. For our young professionals, please join us for a Sail on the Thomas E. Lannon on July 18th. Also, our Businesswomen’s mixers include an After-Hour Sunset Sail on August 10th. Please check our website for a full listing of Chamber and community events.
