The Health & Wellness Committee meets regularly, typically on the first Thursday or Friday of each month. We are committed to bringing news, information, and resources regarding Health & Wellness to our Cape Ann Communities. The committee consists of representatives from businesses and organizations that provide critical goods and services, including The Gloucester Department of Public Health, The Open Door, Spaulding Outpatient Center, Children’s Friends and Family Services, Action Inc., Backyard Growers, The YMCA, Beauport Hearing Care, Sound Living Therapy, Bonneville Design, Blackburn Primary Care, Middlesex Recovery Gloucester, as well as others.
In the best of times, but most certainly during these most difficult times, we can be a resource to assist with direction for any Health and Wellness matters for folks or any age, be they related to physical or mental health related issues. Please reach out to me directly at scott1muir@gmail.com or to our CACC liaison, Olivia Perez-O’Dess at olivia@capeannchamber.com, and we will connect you with the appropriate resource(s).
We hope that you enjoyed a delightful Thanksgiving celebration and that the rest of your holidays will be merry and bright! As 2020 concludes, we look forward to sharing a happier and healthier 2021 with you.
Kind regards,
Scott Muir, Chair
Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce – Health & Wellness Committee
