How many years have you been in business as a solopreneur? 6 and a half years
How many years as a Chamber Member? I am starting my 3rd year as a Chamber member and my 2nd year on the Board of Directors
Please provide a brief description of what your business is all about. 4GBS Coaching is all about helping people connect with their partners in more loving ways. There is so much more to relationships, love and intimacy than what we see in rom-com movies! When a person discovers what they really enjoy and then opens up to their full potential for pleasure, they are set free and feel true, deep joy. I am especially adept at helping committed couples rekindle romance, deepen their intimate connection, and improve their communication skills so they can discover new pleasures and make LOVE in infinite ways.

What enticed you to start a solopreneur business? I had been providing 1:1 peer support to friends and acquaintances on the topics of sexuality and wellness for nearly 3 decades while working “my day job” in healthcare and clinical research. I reached the point where I realized that I was doing what I really loved for free and getting paid for something that was no longer in alignment with my values and beliefs so I took the leap. As a Sex & Relationship Coach, I am living my soul’s purpose, doing what brings me joy and making the world a more loving place to live.
What is “the Good, the Bad and the Ugly” of working on your own? The Good: I absolutely love working with my clients and celebrating their successes, watching them and their relationships blossom and grow. The Bad: It is lonely working by myself and I miss having teammates like I did in corporate life. The Ugly: Wow! There is a lot to learn! Accounting, legal, taxes, strategy, sales, marketing, copyrighting, web developing,… the list goes on and on!
Why are you a Chamber member? I joined GCACC to connect with other local entrepreneurs to meet both my business and social needs for connection. I am so grateful that I have been welcomed by this amazing community and to have so many fun events to attend.
What advice would you give others looking to take the leap into “solopreneurship?” If you are multi-passionate like I am and can navigate “wearing lots of hats,” solopreneurship is a great way to do exactly what you love. Just make sure you have several supportive communities around you because it is an uphill climb with lots of setbacks, especially in the beginning.
Where do you see your business going in the future? I believe that reclaiming one’s birthright to pleasure is the “final frontier” of personal growth which will ultimately heal the planet. My business is on the front lines, committed to helping people heal from the shame and cultural conditioning which disconnected them from who they really are. Healed people, heal people and together, we can heal the world. Join me!
