We started the business in 2022.
Please provide a brief description of your company.
We own a beer and wine tap trailer that includes 6 taps to dispense beer and wine, a TV, and speakers. We serve weddings, bridal showers, graduations, fundraisers, birthdays, and special events all on wheels.
What inspired you to start your business and what keeps you going?
We wanted to offer our community a new and innovative twist on serving beer and wine. We love the outdoors and love enjoying the great weather in the fall, spring, and summer.
What aspect of your business are you most passionate about? (history, conversation pieces, etc.)
The aspect of our business we are the most passionate about is serving our community which we have been serving for 18 years. We want to continue to grow our relationship with our community by offering our services to provide a unique element for parties. We are passionate about our business since it is family-operated. My wife and I work with our two daughters to serve our community.
Is there something unique about your business that you’d like to share that most people wouldn’t know about?
My wife and I, the owners of Harbor Tap Trailer, are certified bartenders, and we have a ServSafe certification. My wife has been selling beer, wine and spirits for 12 years at her store, Good Harbor Liquors. We are experts in this field. We also want to offer this opportunity to our youngest daughter since this is the field she wants to study in the future.
What sets your business apart from other similar businesses?
Our business is unique from others because we offer a unique experience with beer and wine. Our trailer offers a convenient and new distribution of beer and wine with 6 different taps that can dispense several options for our clients all on wheels.
Do you have a goal you want the business to achieve in the next one, 5, or 10 years?
A goal we have in mind is to be thought of immediately when an event host wants to serve alcohol at an outdoor event. In the next year, we would like to show our services at larger events to spread the name of our business.
Why do you love the Greater Cape Ann region and doing business locally?
We love the Greater Cape Ann region and doing business locally because we truly love the people, since everyone loves and cares for everyone. We have built such deep and meaningful relationships with our community, in which we are so appreciative that we decided to move here 20 years ago.
As someone doing business in this area, how has or how can the Chamber help your business?
The Chamber can help our business by broadcasting our business to audiences who have not heard of us yet. The Chamber will provide us with the opportunity to reach community members that we were not able to reach ourselves.
